Protects against power fluctuations and regulates electricity that feeds into the bulb. Input electric power is lowered by 8-9% upon switching on, and settles to 33-35% lower after 15 minutes.
Wire Lock Design
Installation is made safer and easier with slots for wire that lock inside the connectors. No need to twist wires or wrap wires in electrical tape.
Four Pin Holes Lock Design
The pin holes lock and hold the bulb safely and securely. This allows unhampered and unrestricted flow of current to light-up the bulb while switched on. The four pins also ensures even distribution of current throughout the bulb.
Heat Resistant Casing
Capable of up to 75 degree Celsius heat for prolonged periods. The electronic ballasts produces only 10% heat and 90% lighting -- the casing is therefore designed for additional safety in case of extreme humidity, or if room temperature rises to 75 degrees Celsius levels.
Bulb Holder
The standard bulb holder is an additional safety feature to ensure the lamp stays in place. The holder is made durable metal alloy resistant to prolonged exposure to heat.
Ideal Bulb Position
CFLs internal structure include mercury and phosphor. These are subjected to stress when positioned vertically. LUMINA's horizontal position eliminates the pressure and provides more illumination to larger areas of a room.
